This Sunday, FC Plateau 39 hosted Beaufort for the second round of the Coupe de France at the Stade Jérémy Crinquand.
And once again, the fans who turned out in force were treated to a thrilling encounter, which ended in a thrilling finale with a penalty shootout!
An even first half
The Yellow and Reds quickly took the lead, capitalizing on their strong start and dominance of the ball. But just before halftime, the visitors managed to level the score, leaving everything to play for in the second half.

After the break, FC Plateau 39 took control of the game: high pressing, quick recovery, and numerous chances. Despite this great control, their finishing was lacking, and Beaufort’s few long balls served as a reminder that anything was possible.
A hero named Babou 🧤
Redeemed finally came during the penalty shootout.
